A thick and rigid saw blade makes this Pocketboy Outback Edition 100% protected outdoors. Silky applied a black coating of a unique nickel-tin blend to the entire blade, including the teeth. This provides a long blade life and incredible cutting performance, not only in wood but also when sawing bones.

Furthermore, due to its dark, non-reflective color, this saw is particularly suitable for tactical operations. The blade locks securely in two different positions with the locking mechanism. And when the blade is folded, the sharp teeth are safely covered as they are completely hidden in the handle. When using the saw, the blade can be easily unfolded even with gloves thanks to the notch in the saw blade.

The arbor composite handle is made of a wood/plastic composite that provides a warm and comfortable touch and superior control. The feel is slightly harder than Silky's usual GOM rubber handle, but offers more grip with greasy substances.
