Operation & Care

The Petromax Chimney Starter is filled with grilling charcoal or grilling charcoal briquettes as needed and placed on a fireproof surface, such as a concrete slab or directly on the grill. Solid firelighters are placed under the chimney to ignite the charcoal from below. Once the firelighters have burned down and the charcoal is fully glowing, it is poured into the grill.
