XP II PLUS

The XP II Plus is a bivy with a pole arch that keeps the face clear. Thanks to GORE-TEX® ARID LITE AIR technology, a unique three-layer laminate, it is absolutely waterproof and extremely breathable. Loops on the underside allow for the integration of a sleeping mat for additional comfort and cold protection.

Unlike the GORE-TEX® membrane used for clothing, GORE-TEX® Gas Permeable Technology is air-permeable. Our bivy bags and tents can therefore be completely closed – absolute weather protection with great comfort!

O² AND CO² PERMEABLE
The CARINTHIA bivy bag systems with Gore-Tex® Gas Permeable Technology are a waterproof and windproof multifunctional layer with perfect properties for all activities in wet terrain and rain. The unique Gore-Tex® laminate is not only extremely breathable, but also permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide (ambient air). This means it is possible to create a completely closed waterproof and windproof environment for sleeping in adverse weather conditions. The air permeability of the system has been tested down to a depth of 1 m of snow.

LESS WEIGHT AND VOLUME, MORE FLEXIBILITY
The Gore-Tex® laminate for sleeping systems is designed to be lighter and more compressible. To achieve the best balance of durability and low weight, a special material combination is used. The outer layer consists of a lightweight, gas-permeable fabric, while a robust laminate is used for the bottom area. This combination creates the best balance of weight, durability, and protection.

PROTECTION AGAINST COLD AND WETNESS
CARINTHIA bivy systems with Gore-Tex® Gas Permeable Technology show excellent insulation properties and provide the user with additional protection against cold, especially when closed. The condensation of water vapor inside is reduced, and any resulting condensation is quickly transported to the outside
